Ingredients
- 2 cups whole grain O cereal (such as Cheerios)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (or sunflower seed butter for nut-free)
- 1/2 cup honey
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Warm the peanut butter and honey in a medium bowl in the microwave for about 15-30 seconds, or until easily stirred together.
- Stir the mixture until well combined.
- Add the cereal and gently stir to coat evenly.
- Transfer to the prepared baking pan and press down firmly using a spatula or clean hands.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing into bars.
- Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Notes
- Use sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version.
- Press the mixture down very firmly to help the bars hold together.
- Chill thoroughly before slicing to ensure they set well.
