Description

Easy 3-ingredient cereal bars made with cereal, nut or seed butter, and honey, perfect for toddlers and kids as a healthy snack or breakfast option.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole grain O cereal (such as Cheerios)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (or sunflower seed butter for nut-free)
  • 1/2 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Warm the peanut butter and honey in a medium bowl in the microwave for about 15-30 seconds, or until easily stirred together.
  3. Stir the mixture until well combined.
  4. Add the cereal and gently stir to coat evenly.
  5. Transfer to the prepared baking pan and press down firmly using a spatula or clean hands.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing into bars.
  7. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • Use sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version.
  • Press the mixture down very firmly to help the bars hold together.
  • Chill thoroughly before slicing to ensure they set well.
  • Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy removal.
