Description

These Air Fryer Candied Pecans are a quick and easy sweet snack, made with just three ingredients. Perfectly crunchy, caramelized, and great for snacking or topping desserts and salads.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar has completely dissolved and the mixture forms a syrup-like consistency.
  3. Add the pecan halves to the saucepan and stir until they are evenly coated with the sugar syrup.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  5. Transfer the coated pecans to the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overlapping.
  6. Air fry the pecans for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
  7. Keep a close eye on the pecans during the last few minutes to prevent burning.
  8. Once golden brown and caramelized, remove pecans and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool completely.
  9. Allow them to cool and harden before serving or storing in an airtight container.
