Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk (any kind)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (for coating)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the milk, melted butter (or oil), and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined into a thick batter.
- Use a small cookie scoop or spoon to form dough into bite-sized balls.
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket or use parchment paper with holes.
- Place the dough balls in the air fryer, leaving some space between each.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6–8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While donut bites are frying, mix the sugar and cinnamon for coating in a small bowl.
- Brush warm donut bites with melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Do not overmix the batter to keep the donut bites soft and fluffy.
