Description

This Air Fryer Grilled Cheese is a quick and easy way to make a crispy, golden-brown sandwich with gooey melted cheese inside, all without using a stovetop or skillet.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 12 teaspoons mayonnaise
  • 2 slices of cheese (like American, Cheddar, or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place the cheese slices between the un-mayoed sides of the bread to form a sandwich, with the mayo sides facing out.
  4. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 4–5 minutes, then flip the sandwich and cook for an additional 3–4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from air fryer and let sit for 1–2 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can use butter instead of mayonnaise if preferred.
  • Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of your bread and type of air fryer.
  • Try adding extras like tomatoes, bacon, or different cheeses for variety.
