Description
These crispy air fryer potato wedges are perfectly seasoned and golden brown on the outside while tender on the inside. They’re a healthier alternative to deep-fried wedges and make a great snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- 4 medium Russet potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
- Wash and scrub the Russet potatoes thoroughly, then cut each potato into wedges by first cutting in half lengthwise, then into quarters, and finally into eighths.
- Place the potato wedges in a large bowl and cover them with cold water. Let them soak for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried parsley until evenly coated.
- Place the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the wedges are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Soaking the potatoes helps achieve extra crispiness.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste – add cayenne for spice or parmesan for richness.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer to restore crispiness.
