Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillets (about four 4-oz salmon fillets)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked or sweet paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper (or more to taste)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- If needed, preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Remove the skin from the salmon and slice into 1-inch chunks. Place the salmon pieces into a medium mixing bowl.
- Drizzle the salmon with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, cayenne, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer, leaving space between each piece. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 5 to 8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and lightly crispy on the edges.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the salmon pieces and your air fryer model.
- For variation, substitute Cajun seasoning, taco seasoning, garlic salt, or Italian seasoning for a different flavor profile.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Serve with steamed vegetables, brown rice, or air fryer potatoes for a complete meal.
