Description

This quick and easy Air Fryer Salmon recipe delivers juicy, flavorful fillets with a crispy exterior in under 15 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights or healthy meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub each fillet with olive oil.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning evenly over the salmon fillets.
  6. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down if using skin-on fillets.
  7. Cook for 7–9 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve immediately with lemon wedges, if desired.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste or add herbs for extra flavor.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
