Description

Ingredients

  • 23 Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish – e.g., parsley or chives)

Instructions

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Leave the skin on or peel if preferred.
  2. Slice the potatoes into 1/8 to 1/4-inch rounds using a sharp knife or mandoline.
  3. Soak the slices in cold water for 15–30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry with a clean towel.
  4. Toss the potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; work in batches if needed.
  7. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh herbs if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • Soaking the potatoes helps achieve extra crispiness but can be skipped if in a rush.
