Ingredients

- 2 cups apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and lightly flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples and walnuts until evenly distributed.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
