Description
A crisp, cozy fall cocktail combining bourbon, apple cider, ginger beer, and warm aromatic bitters for a bright, seasonal sipper. Perfect for autumn evenings or festive gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon
 - 2 oz apple cider
 - 2 dashes Angostura bitters
 - 2 oz ginger beer
 - Squeeze of fresh lemon juice (optional)
 - Ice
 - Optional garnishes: cinnamon stick, star anise, apple slice, fresh thyme sprig
 
Instructions
- Fill a rocks glass (or medium glass) with ice.
 - Add the bourbon, apple cider, and bitters.
 - Top with ginger beer and gently stir to combine.
 - If desired, squeeze in a bit of fresh lemon juice and adjust to taste (more cider for sweetness, more bourbon for strength).
 - Garnish as desired with a cinnamon stick, star anise, apple slice, or thyme sprig. Serve and enjoy.
 
Notes
- Omit the bourbon for a mocktail version.
 - Swap in rye whiskey instead of bourbon for more spice notes.
