Description
A quick and easy single-serving apple crumble recipe made in the microwave. Perfect for a cozy dessert with minimal effort and ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 small apple, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)
- 1 tbsp oats
- 1 tsp butter
- 1/2 tsp brown sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Peel and chop the apple into small pieces.
- Add cinnamon powder, lemon juice, and 1 tsp brown sugar to the chopped apple and mix well.
- Transfer the apple mixture into a microwave-safe ramekin or small bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix all-purpose flour, oats, 1/2 tsp brown sugar, and butter. Use your fingers to mix until the mixture becomes crumbly.
- Spread the crumble topping evenly over the apple mixture in the ramekin.
- Microwave for 2–3 minutes until the apple is soft and the topping is cooked.
- Let it sit for 2–3 minutes before serving. Optionally, serve with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
- You can use jaggery instead of brown sugar for a healthier version.
- Adjust cinnamon as per your taste preference.
