Description
Apple Pie Overnight Oats are a simple, healthy, and delicious make-ahead breakfast inspired by the flavors of classic apple pie. They’re naturally sweetened, vegan, and perfect for busy mornings.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2–3/4 cup unsweetened plain almond milk (or other dairy-free milk)
- 1/2 cup grated apple (skin on)
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup (or to taste)
- 1 Tbsp almond butter (optional)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a mason jar or small bowl and stir to combine.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
- In the morning, stir well. If too thick, add a bit more milk to loosen.
- Top with additional grated apple, nut butter, or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
- Use sweet, crisp apples like Honeycrisp or Fuji for best flavor.
- Can be made up to 3-4 days in advance.
- Adjust sweetness by using more or less maple syrup depending on your taste.
- Oats will soften more the longer they sit; best consumed within a few days.
