Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, diced avocado, almond flour, green onions, garlic, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and coconut aminos. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown on the outside.
- Serve with your choice of bun or lettuce wrap and toppings.
