Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken breasts and rub it in evenly.
- In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Brush the melted butter over the top of each chicken breast.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is perfectly cooked.
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mix for 30 minutes before baking.
- Letting the chicken rest helps retain its juices.
