Ingredients
- 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves – cut into 1 inch strips
- 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- ½ cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, thyme, and basil.
- Dip the chicken pieces into the melted butter, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.
Notes
- You can use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
- Try adding garlic powder or paprika to the breadcrumb mix for added flavor.
