Description

This Banana Bundt Cake is a moist and flavorful dessert made with overripe bananas and simple pantry ingredients. It’s perfect for using up leftover bananas and makes a great treat for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the mashed bananas, buttermilk, and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
