- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
- 3/4 cup caramel sauce
- Sliced bananas, caramel sauce, and whole peanuts for garnish
Instructions
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar to form the crust. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator.
- Beat the cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and mashed bananas.
- Pour filling over the crust and sprinkle chopped peanuts on top. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50 minutes, or until set.
- Allow cheesecake to cool. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cheesecake.
- Chill for 4 hours, or overnight. Before serving, garnish with sliced bananas, extra caramel sauce, and whole peanuts.
Notes
- Ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the filling.
- Use ripe bananas for maximum flavor and sweetness.
- Refrigerating overnight helps the flavors to meld and the cheesecake to fully set.
