Description

A rich and creamy cheesecake flavored with ripe bananas, topped with crunchy peanuts and luscious caramel sauce. Perfect for a decadent dessert or special occasion treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
  • 3/4 cup caramel sauce
  • Sliced bananas, caramel sauce, and whole peanuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar to form the crust. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator.
  2. Beat the cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and mashed bananas.
  3. Pour filling over the crust and sprinkle chopped peanuts on top. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50 minutes, or until set.
  4. Allow cheesecake to cool. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cheesecake.
  5. Chill for 4 hours, or overnight. Before serving, garnish with sliced bananas, extra caramel sauce, and whole peanuts.
