Description

Moist and classic banana bread made with ripe bananas, butter, and simple pantry ingredients, perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, then mix in the sugar.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and stir.
  6. Gently fold in the flour until just combined; do not overmix.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing.
