Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp sriracha sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
12 slider buns
Fresh cilantro (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge the chicken pieces in flour, then dip them in the buttermilk mixture, followed by the Panko breadcrumbs. Make sure each piece is well coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken pieces for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar to make the Bang Bang sauce.
- Toss the crispy chicken pieces in the sauce, making sure each piece is fully coated.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a piece of saucy chicken on each slider bun. Garnish with fresh cilantro, if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
