Description

These BBQ Chicken Sliders are a quick and easy meal made with shredded rotisserie chicken, tangy BBQ sauce, melty cheese, and soft slider buns. Perfect for weeknight dinners, game day, or parties!


Ingredients

  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work well)
  • 6 slices provolone or cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded rotisserie chicken with BBQ sauce until well combined.
  3. Slice the slider buns horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  4. Spread the BBQ chicken evenly over the bottom buns.
  5. Top with cheese slices, then place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
  6. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and onion powder. Brush over the tops of the buns.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes, until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use any BBQ sauce you prefer – sweet, smoky, or spicy.
  • You can substitute with cooked shredded chicken breast if you don’t have rotisserie.
  • Add sliced jalapeños or pickles for extra flavor.
