Description
These BBQ Chicken Sliders are a quick and easy meal made with shredded rotisserie chicken, tangy BBQ sauce, melty cheese, and soft slider buns. Perfect for weeknight dinners, game day, or parties!
Ingredients
- 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work well)
- 6 slices provolone or cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded rotisserie chicken with BBQ sauce until well combined.
- Slice the slider buns horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Spread the BBQ chicken evenly over the bottom buns.
- Top with cheese slices, then place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder and onion powder. Brush over the tops of the buns.
- Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes, until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
- Remove from oven, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use any BBQ sauce you prefer – sweet, smoky, or spicy.
- You can substitute with cooked shredded chicken breast if you don’t have rotisserie.
- Add sliced jalapeños or pickles for extra flavor.
