Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Mix well.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until fully combined.
- Mix in the mashed bananas until the batter is smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
