Description

This cheesy garlic bread is the perfect side dish with a golden, buttery crust and a gooey, cheesy interior. Loaded with savory garlic and melted cheese, it pairs perfectly with pasta, salads, or soups.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread (or Italian bread)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and place both halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, dried oregano, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread is golden brown on the edges.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  8. Slice and serve immediately.
