Description
These easy-to-make chocolate-covered strawberries in a cup are a fun and mess-free twist on a classic treat, perfect for parties, Valentine’s Day, or just a sweet snack.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, rinsed and dried
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)
- Mini plastic cups or dessert cups
- Sprinkles or crushed nuts (optional topping)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Make sure no moisture remains as it affects the chocolate coating.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate and place upright in a mini dessert cup.
- If using, melt white chocolate chips and drizzle over the strawberries for decoration.
- Add optional toppings like sprinkles or crushed nuts before the chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate the cups for at least 15–20 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- Ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to help chocolate stick better.
- You can use dark or milk chocolate depending on preference.
- Great for gifting or party favors when wrapped in cellophane.
