Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, eggs, and oats. Mix well until evenly combined.
  3. Press the meat mixture into a lightly greased 9×5-inch loaf pan, shaping it evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard to make the glaze.
  5. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
