Ingredients
- 2 packets chicken gravy mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can of water (use the soup can to measure)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
- 3 whole chicken breasts, boneless skinless (about 1 pound)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Place in slow cooker.
- Whisk together the water, gravy packets, and cream of chicken soup until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Carefully remove the chicken and shred or cut as desired.
- Whisk the sour cream into the gravy in the slow cooker until smooth.
- Return the chicken to the gravy or serve separately with gravy spooned on top.
- Season with additional salt and pepper to taste, if desired.
