Description

A delicate and fragrant rose latte that can be enjoyed hot or iced, lightly sweetened and naturally tinted pink. This quick, dairy-free drink is soothing and customizable.


Ingredients

  • 1½ cups milk of choice (oat, almond, or soy milk)
  • 2 tsp rose water
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 23 tsp maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp beet powder

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high for 10–15 seconds until fully combined. Alternatively, whisk thoroughly in a bowl.
  2. For a hot latte, pour the mixture into a small saucepan and warm over gentle heat.
  3. Pour into a mug. Optionally add a shot of espresso and garnish with rose petals.
  4. For an iced latte, pour the blended mixture over a glass of ice and optionally garnish with rose petals.

Notes

  • Adjust maple syrup to taste for desired sweetness.
  • Use culinary-grade rose water to avoid overpowering flavor.
  • Beet powder is optional but adds a natural pink hue.
  • Store leftover mixture in the fridge for up to 1 day and shake before use.
