Ingredients
- 1 cup oats (slow or quick cook)
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup cold butter
- 2 lb strawberries, leaves removed and chopped into quarters
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add butter and mix using your hands until the mixture resembles chunky breadcrumbs.
- Add strawberries to a 10-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar and cornstarch, then stir to combine.
- Evenly sprinkle the crumble mixture over the strawberries.
- Bake for 30 minutes, until the topping is golden and the strawberries are bubbling.
- Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
