Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken pieces evenly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken in a single layer and cook for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
- Once all the chicken is cooked, reduce heat to medium, add butter and garlic to the skillet.
- Sauté the garlic in the melted butter for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- Cut chicken into uniform pieces for even cooking.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan to allow the chicken to brown properly.
- This dish pairs well with rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
