Description

A simple and flavorful garlic butter pasta made with pantry staples, perfect for a quick and comforting meal. Rich, buttery sauce infused with garlic coats tender pasta for an easy dish.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Stir in salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
  6. Pour in a bit of reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and melting.
  • Add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes to control spice level.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
