Description
These Roast Beef Sliders are the perfect crowd-pleasing appetizer or game day snack, made with melty cheese, savory roast beef, and a buttery glaze on soft Hawaiian rolls.
Ingredients
- 1 (12-count) package Hawaiian rolls
- 1 pound deli roast beef, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces provolone or Swiss cheese, sliced
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Without separating the rolls, slice the package of rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the roast beef evenly over the bottom halves, followed by the cheese slices. Place the top halves of the rolls back on.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, dried minced onion, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes until combined.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the sliders.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then cut and serve warm.
Notes
- Use Swiss or provolone cheese depending on your flavor preference.
- These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- You can substitute turkey or ham for roast beef if desired.
