Description

Strawberry Fluff Salad is a light, creamy dessert salad made with whipped topping, strawberry gelatin, crushed pineapple, marshmallows, and fresh strawberries. It’s a classic no-bake treat perfect for potlucks, picnics, and holidays.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
  2. Add the entire can of crushed pineapple (with juice) to the gelatin and mix well.
  3. Refrigerate for about 15-20 minutes, or until slightly thickened but not fully set.
  4. Fold in the whipped topping and sour cream until well combined.
  5. Add mini marshmallows and chopped strawberries. Stir to combine.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
  7. Stir gently before serving. Garnish with extra strawberries if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute the fresh strawberries with frozen (thawed and drained).
  • For a tangier flavor, add a few tablespoons of cream cheese.
