Description

This Big Mac Salad is a low-carb, keto-friendly twist on the classic fast food burger. Packed with ground beef, crisp lettuce, cheddar cheese, pickles, onions, and a creamy ‘special sauce’, it’s a quick and satisfying meal that delivers all the Big Mac flavor without the bun.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing (or homemade special sauce)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Cook until no longer pink, then drain excess fat.
  2. Chop the iceberg lettuce and place it in a large salad bowl.
  3. Add shredded cheddar cheese, diced pickles, and diced red onion to the bowl.
  4. Add the cooked ground beef on top of the salad ingredients.
  5. Drizzle Thousand Island dressing or homemade special sauce over the salad.
  6. Toss everything together until well combined and serve immediately.
