Description

This refreshing blender green juice is packed with kale, parsley, cucumber, and apple for a naturally energizing drink. Quick to make and full of vibrant flavor, it is a healthy addition to your morning routine.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups kale
  • 1 handful fresh parsley (about 1 oz)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, peeled
  • 2 large celery stalks, trimmed and roughly chopped
  • 1 granny smith apple, cored and stem removed, chopped
  • 1/2 large cucumber (with the skin on), chopped loosely
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

Instructions

  1. Add the kale, parsley, and water to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add the ginger, celery, apple, cucumber, and lemon juice to the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed for about 1 minute, or until fully liquified.
  4. Divide into two glasses and serve immediately.
  5. For storage, pour the juice into a 1 liter mason jar and refrigerate for up to 3-4 days.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag.
  • Add ice cubes before blending for a colder drink.
  • You can substitute spinach for kale if preferred.
  • Consume fresh for the best flavor and nutrient retention.
