Description
This refreshing blender green juice is packed with kale, parsley, cucumber, and apple for a naturally energizing drink. Quick to make and full of vibrant flavor, it is a healthy addition to your morning routine.
Ingredients
- 2 cups kale
- 1 handful fresh parsley (about 1 oz)
- 2 cups water
- 1 inch piece of ginger, peeled
- 2 large celery stalks, trimmed and roughly chopped
- 1 granny smith apple, cored and stem removed, chopped
- 1/2 large cucumber (with the skin on), chopped loosely
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
Instructions
- Add the kale, parsley, and water to a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add the ginger, celery, apple, cucumber, and lemon juice to the blender.
- Blend on high speed for about 1 minute, or until fully liquified.
- Divide into two glasses and serve immediately.
- For storage, pour the juice into a 1 liter mason jar and refrigerate for up to 3-4 days.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag.
- Add ice cubes before blending for a colder drink.
- You can substitute spinach for kale if preferred.
