Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add in the milk, oil, and vanilla extract, and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each well about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen blueberries; if using frozen, do not thaw before adding.
- Donuts can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Add a simple glaze of powdered sugar and milk for extra sweetness.
