Description

This Healthy Breakfast Apple Crumble is a wholesome, naturally sweetened dish made with oats, apples, and warming spices—perfect for a cozy morning or a nutritious dessert.


Ingredients

  • 4 apples, chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (for greasing)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small baking dish with 1 tsp coconut oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples, 1 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg, and 1 tbsp maple syrup if using. Mix well.
  3. Spread the apple mixture evenly in the greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine the oats, almond flour, melted coconut oil, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the top is golden and the apples are soft.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or cold.

Notes

  • You can skip the added maple syrup in the apple mixture if your apples are sweet enough.
  • Best served warm, but also delicious cold.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
