- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions.
- Add broccoli during the last 2 minutes of boiling. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir and let simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta, broccoli, and shrimp to the skillet and toss until everything is coated in the Alfredo sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute fettuccine with linguine, penne, or gluten-free pasta if desired.
- If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it.
- For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a pinch of additional red pepper flakes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat gently with a little cream or milk.
