These Buckeye Brownies are a rich and decadent dessert featuring a fudgy brownie base topped with a creamy peanut butter layer and finished with a smooth chocolate ganache. Inspired by the classic Buckeye candy, this treat is perfect for chocolate and peanut butter lovers.
Ingredients
- 1 box (18.3 oz) fudge brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box: eggs, oil, water)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan with nonstick spray or parchment paper.
- Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions and bake in the prepared pan. Let cool completely.
- In a large bowl, beat together butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set. Slice and serve.

- Let brownies cool completely before adding peanut butter layer to prevent melting.
- Chill before slicing for clean layers and easy cutting.
