Description
Candy Bubble Bliss is a fun and playful treat combining the joy of candy with the novelty of bubbles, perfect for parties or as a whimsical snack.
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon citric acid (optional, for tanginess)
Food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, and water. Stir gently over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 3-5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. If you prefer a tangy flavor, add the citric acid at this stage.
- If you’d like colored bubbles, add a few drops of food coloring to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
- Pour the cooled mixture into a shallow dish or bowl.
- Dip a bubble wand (or any suitable tool) into the mixture, and blow bubbles! Enjoy the sweet, candy-scented bubbles floating around.
Notes
- Make sure to stir gently when heating the mixture to avoid burning the sugar.
- The mixture should cool completely before use for best results.
- For best results, experiment with different tools to blow bubbles (such as straws or string).
- Leftover candy bubble mixture can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
