These Caramel Apple Fritter Bites are mini, deep-fried treats packed with chopped apples and topped with a rich caramel glaze. Perfect for fall snacking or dessert!
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped apples
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the egg with milk and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until you get a batter. Fold in the chopped apples.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of the fritter batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the fritter bites and let them drain on paper towels.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, butter, and milk.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for about 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
- Drizzle the caramel glaze over the fritter bites and dust with powdered sugar.

- Serve warm for the most delicious results.
