A rich and creamy homemade Caramel Vanilla Latte that combines the comforting flavors of caramel and vanilla with freshly brewed coffee or espresso. Perfect for a cozy morning or afternoon pick-me-up.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or 1–2 shots of espresso
- 1 cup milk (any kind)
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- In a coffee mug, add the vanilla syrup and caramel sauce.
- Pour in the hot brewed coffee or espresso and stir until the syrup and caramel dissolve.
- Heat the milk in a small saucepan or microwave until hot but not boiling.
- Froth the milk using a frother, whisk, or by shaking in a jar with a lid until foamy.
- Pour the hot milk into the coffee mixture, holding back the foam with a spoon, then spoon the foam on top.
- Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce, if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of caramel and vanilla to taste.
- Use non-dairy milk to make it vegan.
