Description

This Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole is a fun and hearty twist on classic comfort food, combining ground beef, cheese, and frozen French fries into a kid-friendly dinner that’s easy to prepare and perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 11/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 3/4 cup 2% milk
  • 1 package (32 ounces) frozen French fries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the soups and milk. Add the cooked beef and mix well.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to a greased 13×9-inch baking dish.
  5. Arrange French fries on top.
  6. Bake, uncovered, for 50-55 minutes or until the fries are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

  • You can sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking for an extra cheesy finish.
  • Serve with ketchup or pickles to enhance the cheeseburger flavor.
  • Try adding chopped onions or pickles to the beef mixture for more flavor.
