Description

Cheeseburger Eggrolls combine the best of two worlds: the juicy, savory flavor of a classic cheeseburger wrapped in a crispy, crunchy eggroll shell. This irresistible appetizer or snack brings the deliciousness of a cheeseburger into a portable, bite-sized treat that’s perfect for game day, parties, or a fun twist on dinner.

Ingredients

Ground beef (80/20 is ideal for a juicy filling)

Shredded cheddar cheese

Eggroll wrappers

Onion, finely chopped (optional)

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Salt and pepper

Olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula until fully browned. If you’re adding onions, toss them in and sauté until softened.
  2. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine, then remove from heat.
  3. Lay an eggroll wrapper on a clean surface. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of the wrapper and top with a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Roll the eggroll tightly, folding in the sides as you go to seal the filling inside.
  5. Heat olive oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the eggrolls into the oil, frying in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the eggrolls from the oil and let them drain on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or ranch.

Notes

  1. These eggrolls are customizable! Add pickles, onions, or even bacon to personalize them to your liking.
  2. For a healthier version, you can bake the eggrolls instead of frying them.
  3. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
