Description

This Cheeseburger French Fry Bake is a fun, family-friendly dinner that combines all the flavors of a cheeseburger with crispy golden fries in a comforting casserole format.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (26 oz) bag frozen French fries
  • Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, pickles, shredded lettuce, chopped onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  3. Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Add ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to the beef. Simmer for a few minutes until well combined and heated through.
  5. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  7. Top with a single layer of frozen French fries.
  8. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes, or until the fries are crispy and golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and add optional toppings if desired.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
