Ingredients
- 2 pounds asparagus, stalks trimmed
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the woody ends of the asparagus and arrange the spears in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour the heavy cream evenly over the asparagus.
- Sprinkle the minced garlic across the asparagus.
- Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Evenly distribute the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella over the asparagus.
- If desired, sprinkle red pepper flakes on top for a slight kick.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden and the asparagus is tender.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
