Description

These cheesy chicken wraps are an easy, family-friendly meal filled with seasoned chicken, melty cheese, and fresh veggies, all wrapped in a warm tortilla. Perfect for quick lunches or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shredded chicken, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook until heated through and well coated with seasoning.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses together.
  3. Lay out the flour tortillas. Spread a spoonful of sour cream onto each tortilla.
  4. Divide the seasoned chicken evenly among the tortillas.
  5. Top each with a handful of the cheese mixture, some chopped cilantro, shredded lettuce, and diced tomato.
  6. Fold in the sides and roll up the tortillas tightly into wraps.
  7. Optional: Toast the wraps in a skillet over medium heat until the tortillas are golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Slice in half and serve warm.
