Description
A rich and creamy chili packed with bold enchilada-style flavors, savory ground beef, and melted cheese. This hearty Tex-Mex inspired dish is comforting, flavorful, and perfect for an easy one-pot meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 jar Tostitos Salsa Con Queso
- 1 can potato soup
- 1 1/4 cups sour cream
- 1 can fire-roasted diced green chiles
- 1 1/4 cups beef broth
Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and water to the beef, stirring well so the meat is evenly coated. Simmer for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in the Salsa Con Queso, potato soup, sour cream, fire-roasted green chiles, and beef broth until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Reduce the heat to low and bring the chili to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Cook for 10–15 minutes until the chili thickens slightly and the flavors meld together.
- Serve hot and garnish with shredded cheese, chopped cilantro, or tortilla chips if desired.
Notes
- For extra heat, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Top with crushed tortilla chips, shredded cheddar, or fresh cilantro for added texture and flavor.
- If the chili becomes too thick, stir in a small amount of additional beef broth.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat gently on the stovetop.
