Description

Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a combination of savory flavors and creamy textures wrapped up in a delicious tortilla. Loaded with tender chicken, melted cheese, and a rich garlic sauce, this dish is perfect for a quick dinner or lunch.


Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 flour tortillas

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ teaspoon dried parsley

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ cup sour cream (optional, for added creaminess)

Fresh spinach or lettuce (optional, for crunch)


Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: If not already cooked, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook them until tender. Once cooked, shred the chicken into small pieces.
  2. Prepare the Garlic Sauce: In a medium pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Stir in the dried parsley, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another minute, then remove from heat.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Lay the flour tortillas flat. Spread a spoonful of the garlic butter mixture onto each tortilla. Then add a portion of the shredded chicken, followed by a generous amount of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  4. Wrap and Cook: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly, forming a wrap. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, then place the wraps seam side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the cheese is melted and the wrap is golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Slice the wraps in half, and serve them hot with optional sour cream or fresh spinach/lettuce for added texture and flavor.

  1. For a spicy version, add crushed red pepper flakes or sriracha to the garlic butter sauce.
