Description

A crispy, flavor-packed chicken nugget sandwich loaded with fresh lettuce, juicy tomato, and a tangy homemade sauce, all tucked inside a toasted baguette.


Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Mayo
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp finely diced Pickle/Gherkin
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp White Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Sugar (or to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 1 small Baguette/Baton
  • 810 Chicken Nuggets (cooked to packet instruction)
  • 34 Baby Gem Lettuce Leaves
  • 1 Beef Tomato (sliced)
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Optional: Halve the baguette, open it out and place it on a baking tray. Place under the grill and broil until golden and crisp.
  2. In a small bowl, combine mayo, ketchup, diced pickle, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, onion powder, sugar, and salt. Mix well, taste, and adjust seasoning if needed.
  3. Spread your desired amount of sauce over the baguette. Layer one side with lettuce, followed by sliced tomatoes seasoned with salt and pepper, then top with cooked chicken nuggets. Fold over the top half, slice in half, and serve.

Notes

  • Swap the baguette for ciabatta or sandwich rolls if preferred.
  • Use spicy nuggets or add chili sauce for extra heat.
  • Best served immediately while the nuggets are warm and crispy.
  • Leftover sauce can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
