Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (about 1/2 lime)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado to your desired consistency using a fork or potato masher.
  3. Add lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
  4. Stir in chopped cilantro, if using.
  5. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or cover tightly and refrigerate for later use.
