Description
A thick and refreshing chocolate acai bowl blended with frozen fruit and raw cacao for a rich, antioxidant-packed breakfast or snack. Topped with crunchy granola and cacao nibs for extra texture.
Ingredients
- 2 packs frozen unsweetened acai
- 2/3 cups frozen mango
- 2/3 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 tablespoons raw cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons collagen (or vegan protein powder, optional)
- Grain-free granola, for topping
- Cacao nibs, for topping
Instructions
- Add the water to a blender first, followed by the frozen mango, frozen strawberries, frozen acai packs, raw cacao powder, and collagen or vegan protein powder if using.
- Blend on high until thick and smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
- Divide the mixture into two bowls or cups.
- Top with grain-free granola, cacao nibs, and any additional toppings you like. Serve immediately.
Notes
- If the mixture is too thick to blend, add a small splash of water or plant-based milk.
- For a vegan option, use a plant-based protein powder instead of collagen.
- Frozen blueberries or cherries can be substituted for strawberries.
- Best served immediately while thick and cold.
